Check-in Instructions
Arriving without car:
- When you arrive at the address, you will find the building entrance at the far left of BILLA TRAKIA, let the security guard know that you are a guest of Apartment 37 and he will let you in the elevator and onto the ground floor (P) with his chip.
- On the ground floor look for section “H” on your left. Inside the section on your right you will find the elevator.
- Take the elevator to floor number 5.
- On your right side, at the end of the corridor, look for the door of Apartment 37.
- On the left side of the door frame you will find the key box. Pull down the lid, enter code XXXX (we will send you the current code on the day of your arrival) and press the side black button to open the box.
- Close the box, shuffle the numbers.
- Use the key to open the entrance door of the apartment.
- In the key box you will also find a chip, you can use it for the first elevator, in order to reach the ground floor (P) on your own.
- Upon check-out, please close and lock the door and leave the keys back in the key box.
Arriving with car: PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL, PLEASE SEND YOUR VEHICLE PLATE NUMBER, IN ORDER TO USE THE UNDERGROUND PARKING.
- When you arrive at the address, look for the barriers at the far left of BILLA TRAKIA. You have to enter down the left path, which leads to an underground parking. Look for Level -2 (Ниво -2).
- When you enter the underground parking, find section “H” on your right.
- Your assigned parking spot is number 127.
- To enter the building from the parking - find the YELLOW section “H” entrance. The elevator is inside.
- Take the elevator to floor number 5.
- On your right side, at the end of the corridor, look for the door of Apartment 37.
- On the left side of the door frame you will find the key box. Pull down the lid, enter code XXXX (we will send you the current code two days prior to your arrival) and press the side black button to open the box.
- Close the box, shuffle the numbers.
- Use the key to open the entrance door of the apartment.
- To reach the underground parking spot, take the elevator by pressing floor number MINUS 2 (-2) and follow the previous steps in reverse, in order to exit the parking. In the key box you will also find a chip, you can use it for the first elevator at the main entrance of the building, in order to reach the ground floor (P). (Look at the “Arriving without car” instructions at the top).
- Upon check-out, please close and lock the door and leave the keys back in the key box.

House Rules
You can just give the address of the flat to the taxi driver and he will take you there. Prices will vary depending on the traffic and time of day but you can expect to pay around BGN15.Do not try to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver, just ask them to turn the meter on.
There is a detailed guide to Taxi’s in the Sofia Travel Section which you can read if interested. Keep in mind that most taxis won’t have a card payment option.
Rules
Smoking: We have a strict non-smoking policy! Violation of that policy results in a 100 EUR fine. You are free to smoke on the balcony, just not inside the apartment.
Illegal substances: What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law and we appreciate your understanding.
Quiet Times and Parties
Quiet Times: By Bulgarian legislation between 2pm – 4pm and 10pm – 8am are considered quiet hours. Please, be so kind to respect the neighbors and not cause any excessive noise. If you make excessive noise during those hours we reserve our right to expulse you from the apartment without a refund.
Parties: Parties or hosting events is strictly forbidden. Please, respect our home as you would your own. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, serious complaints of unruly behavior will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave.
We have had occasions in the past where the police was involved and there were serious consequences for the guests, so please take this rule very seriously.
Pets
We love animals but we chose to make this home pet-free due to many people being allergic. We think that animals should have enough space and be outside and not in an apartment.
Cleanliness
Cleanliness: We have put a lot of effort into creating a space that you can call your home! Please, respect that and act as you would in your house. We would kindly ask you to take out your garbage to the corresponding containers before checking out.
Toilets: The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is а plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to place things like sanitary napkins in the sanitary bin we’ve provided in the toilets.
Damages
We understand that accidents happen. Please, let us know when they do. Chances are that we will be able to fix anything that was broken at little cost. Keep in mind that we clean the apartment the same day after check-out and thoroughly check for damages. If we detect any damage, we are going to require a compensation for it.
Electricity
To keep our costs down and pass those savings on to you :) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and heating when it’s not in use or leaving the house. Mother Nature thanks you too!
Extra Guests
We understand that for a whole variety of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay in the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please contact us to let us know. We’re as understanding as possible and will accommodate if possible.
General Advice
The water is drinkable. You can drink straight from the tap. However, we recommend taking 50% of your daily allowance through bottled water.
Money
Exchange money at banks or exchange bureaus. Make sure you read all the small print before exchanging. Always compare the given exchange rate with the current rates online to be sure. Exchange rate of EUR and BGN is fixed at 1.95 BGN for 1 EUR so if you see that the exchange bureau is selling you Bulgarian Leva for less, avoid it!
ATMs
Use ATMs attached to banks. Otherwise use your best judgement and don’t take money out from some shady street corners.
Pickpocketing
It is not often but it happens. Carry your belongings in an inside pocket if possible and be careful when browsing crowded places. Do not leave purses, phones, cameras or wallets on the table while dining at sidewalk restaurants and cafes.
Car
Do not leave any valuables inside a parked car. For more on parking take a look at the Transportation section.
Walking
You can safely walk throughout the city of Plovdiv.
Emergencies
For emergency services (ambulance, police, fire) please immediately call 112 – this is the pan-EU emergency number. Do not delay if you feel an emergency situation has arisen.
Medical
There is a small medical kit in the apartment. If you have some minor ailment there are pharmacies scattered throughout the city and you can find the closest one in this guide.
For emergencies, please contact 112 directly and say that you require and ambulance.
Fire
We have provided a fire extinguisher. Whenever an emergency like the ones described above occurs, please inform us as well. However, your first step would be to call the professionals at 112.
How to | Appliances
Heating and cooling
There are two air conditioners in the apartment. One in the living room and another in the bedroom. They are powerful enough to keep the apartment cold or warm, depending on the season.
How to use it:
1. Turn on with the “0/1” button.
2. Press “MODE” to choose the desired program.
3. Use the arrows to change the temperature.
4. Adjust the fan strength by pressing “FAN”.
NOTE: Keep in mind that, if the remote is set to the Snowflake program – the AC will blow cold air even if you’ve set a temperature of 30 degrees. If you want it to blow hot air, you’ll have to set it to the Sun icon and vise versa.
TV Instructions
There is a TV in the living room for those cozy nights in! 🙂
How to use it:
1. Turn on the TV using the smaller remote, shown on the pictures, by pressing the red “0/1” button.
2. Turn on the TV Receiver using the bigger remote (A1), shown on the pictures, by pressing the red “0/1” button.
3. To watch TV use “HDMI1” input source.
4. Use the TV Receiver remote (A1) to change channels, increase and decrease the volume.

Coffee and Tea
There is a coffee machine with capsules in the kitchen.
How to use it:
1. To turn the machine on, press the “0/1” button at the top and wait for it to warm up - it will light up in green when it's ready.
2. Pull the lock handle and insert the capsule in, return the lock handle back to lock the capsule in. Place a cup under the coffee outlet.
3. Push the top lever to COLD or HOT - the preparation starts.
4. After reaching the desired length push the top lever to the “STOP” position to finish preparation.
NOTE: After finishing preparation the power button blinks red for about 5 seconds. During that time do not open locking handle!
NOTE: Make sure that there is water in the container of the coffee machine.
There’s also a kettle that you could use to heat water up and make yourself a relaxing tea.
Laundry Instructions
There is a 2in1 - washing machine + dryer in the apartment!
How to use it:
1. Turn on with the “0/1” button on the left.
2. Select a function by rotating the knob.
3. Put detergent in the left compartment, as shown on the pictures.
4. Press the “Play/Pause” to start the machine.
Dishes
There is a built-in dishwasher in the kitchen, to make your life easier!🙂
How to use it:
1. Switch on with the “0/1” button on the left.
2. Use the buttons in the middle to select a program.
3. To start, close the door.
NOTE: Make sure to place the dishwasher pod in the designated area.

Extra Cleaning
To schedule an extra cleaning, please, contact us. The price is in EUR and is that of of a regular cleaning .The additional cleaning includes a fresh set of linens and towels.
Baby Crib
We cannot provide a baby chair or other baby amenities.
Romantic Welcome
We offer the extra service of supplying the apartment with wine and some fine chocolates for any romantics out there.
We deliver it prior to your arrival so that you can truly surprise your significant other.

Check Out Process
Check-out time is strictly 12pm. Should you require a later check-out we will do our best but you need to let us know beforehand. If we have guests arriving that day it will be impossible to offer a late check-out due to the cleaners needing to prepare for those guests.
Check-out Process
You’ve hopefully had a relaxing stay! But, before you leave, we would appreciate it if you could do the following:
- Put the dishes in the sink
- Close the windows
- Shut down any heating or cooling equipment
- Please, leave the apartment in a decent condition.
- Take the trash out
- Lock the apartment
- The keys should be in the lockbox or as instructed
