Check-in Instructions
- When you arrive at the address, you will see a key box on the right side of the entrance.
- Pull out the cover, enter code XXXX (we will send you the current code on the day of your arrival) and press the side black button to open the box.
- You will find the keys. Close the box and shuffle the numbers.
- If the CHIP for the entrance door doesn't work, you can open it also with 1263# - using the intercom.
- Go to the 1st floor, using the strairs.
- The apartment is on your right side next to the elevator. Use the key to open. Welcome!
- On check-out, just lock the apartment door. Return the keys in the box and shuffle the numbers.
Getting Here
Arriving by Car
If you need direction please click the map above. Once on the map you will see the blue house icon. This is where you are staying. Simply click it and then click “get directions”. It will open Google Maps and the end point (the house) will be filled in. You simply need to type in your starting point.

House Rules
Chances are if you are comming from abroad that you will be arriving at the airport. Luckily, there are plenty of taxi’s there. Sofia Airport works with “OK” taxi, authorized cars are lining up at the official Taxi area at each terminal. If you decide another brand from the airport they may overcharge you.
You can just give the address of the flat to the taxi driver and he will take you there. Prices will vary depending on the traffic and time of day but you can expect to pay around BGN15.Do not try to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver, just ask them to turn the meter on.
There is a detailed guide to Taxi’s in the Sofia Travel Section which you can read if interested. Keep in mind that most taxis won’t have a card payment option.

Smoking: We have a strict non-smoking policy! Violation of that policy results in a 100 EUR fine. You are free to smoke on the balcony, just not inside the apartment.
Illegal substances: What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law and we appreciate your understanding.
Quiet Times and Parties
Quiet Times: By Bulgarian legislation between 2pm – 4pm and 10pm – 8am are considered quiet hours. Please, be so kind to respect the neighbors and not cause any excessive noise. If you make excessive noise during those hours we reserve our right to expulse you from the apartment without a refund.
Parties: Parties or hosting events is strictly forbidden. Please, respect our home as you would your own. Though we’re sure it won’t come to it, serious complaints of unruly behavior will unfortunately result in you being asked to leave.
We have had occasions in the past where the police was involved and there were serious consequences for the guests, so please take this rule very seriously.
Pets
We love animals but we chose to make this home pet-free due to many people being allergic. We think that animals should have enough space and be outside and not in an apartment.
Cleanliness
Cleanliness: We have put a lot of effort into creating a space that you can call your home! Please, respect that and act as you would in your house. We would kindly ask you to take out your garbage to the corresponding containers before checking out.
Toilets: The easiest way to disrupt an enjoyable stay is а plumbing problem. To prevent this, we kindly ask you to place things like sanitary napkins in the sanitary bin we’ve provided in the toilets.
Damages
We understand that accidents happen. Please, let us know when they do. Chances are that we will be able to fix anything that was broken at little cost. Keep in mind that we clean the apartment the same day after check-out and thoroughly check for damages. If we detect any damage, we are going to require a compensation for it.
Electricity
To keep our costs down and pass those savings on to you :) we kindly ask that you switch off lights and heating when it’s not in use or leaving the house. Mother Nature thanks you too!
Extra Guests
We understand that for a whole variety of reasons, you may want additional guests to stay in the place. In the event that you want additional guests to stay, please contact us to let us know. We’re as understanding as possible and will accommodate if possible.

Exchange rate of EUR and BGN is fixed at 1.95 BGN for 1 EUR so if you see that the exchange bureau is selling you Bulgarian Leva for less, avoid it!

How to | Appliances
Heating and cooling
The apartment has AC’s in every room. They are powerful enough to keep the apartment cold or warm, depending on the season. To turn them on just use the remote and choose the desired program and temperature.
How to use them:
1. Turn on the air conditioner from the START / STOP button.
2. Select a mode from the MODE button.
An image of a sun is for warm, and an image of a snowflake is for cold.
3. Use the arrow buttons to adjust the temperature.
4. Use the FAN button to select the fan power.
5. To turn off, also use the button from which you turned it on.
To use hot water for bathing, you must turn on the boiler as soon as you enter the apartment.
The power button is located on the right side of the bathroom door.
TV Instructions
How to use the TV:
Turn on the TV and the "NETA" receiver with the red buttons on both remotes.
With the receiver's remote you can change programs, increase and decrease the volume.
If there is no signal, use the TV remote control by pressing the SOURCE button and selecting the "1" input signal source.
Coffee and Tea
There is a coffee machine in the kitchen and coffee capsules in the cupboards.
How to use it:
- Check if there is water in the machine.
- Turn on the machine and wait for it to turn green.
- Pull the thumb that says "DOLCE GUSTO" up and pull the stand towards you.
- Insert the capsule, return the tray, and press your thumb down to lock the capsule.
- Move the lever at the end of the machine to the right to the red mark.
- You can stop when you think the coffee is enough by putting the lever in the starting position.
Please, do not leave used capsules in the machine!
There’s also a kettle that you could use to heat water up and make yourself a relaxing tea. The tea pack should be located in one of the cupboards in the kitchen.
Laundry Instructions
There is a laundry machine in the apartment!
How to use it:
- Turn on the laundry machine by pressing the central button inwards.
- Select a program from the central button by turning it.
- Change the temperature, centrifuge and etc. from the five buttons on the right.
- Press the right PLAY / PAUSE button to start.
Dishes
There is a built-in dish washer in the kitchen, to make your life easier!
How to use it:
- Turn on with the button that is on the left side of the door.
- Use the "P" button to select a program and close the door.
NOTE: Make sure to place the dishwasher pod in the designated area.
Extra Services
Airport Transfer
There are plenty of ways to get to your apartment. Public transport is good and the taxis are cheap. However, should you require a transfer we can arrange it. This option is more expensive. It would cost you between BGN 50 and BGN 90. The price depends on the time of day and the number of people. We don’t do the actual transfer but we will be happy to facilitate it for you if that is your preferred means of transport.
Extra Cleaning
The apartment is clean and prepared for your comfort as soon as the previous guests depart. This being said if you are staying for a longer period or require an extra cleaning, we can arrange it.
To schedule an extra cleaning, please, contact us. The price is in EUR and is that of of a regular cleaning 18 .The additional cleaning includes a fresh set of linens and towels.

Baby Crib
We can provide a baby crib for your sunshine. If you require this service, please let us know at least two days in advance. The cost is EUR20 and for safety purposes you will have to bring your own sheets for the baby crib.

Check Out Process
Check-out time is strictly 12pm. Should you require a later check-out we will do our best but you need to let us know beforehand. If we have guests arriving that day it will be impossible to offer a late check-out due to the cleaners needing to prepare for those guests.
Check-out Process
You’ve hopefully had a relaxing stay! But, before you leave, we would appreciate it if you could do the following:
- Put the dishes in the sink
- Close the windows
- Shut down any heating or cooling equipment
- Please, leave the apartment in a decent condition.
- Take the trash out
- Lock the apartment
- The keys should be in the lockbox or as instructed
